Giving a Bit (www.givingabit.com)

We have registered with the portal site “Giving a Bit”  so that we might benefit from your online purchases.  Himalayan Children receives a percentage of the cost of any purchases you make on line via the Giving a Bit site (through an agreement they have with a number of large retailers, not by charging you extra).  So that we can take advantage of this, we would appreciate it if you could sign into Giving a bit www.givingabit.com; at the end of the process you are asked to select the charity to receive the donation.  There are several charities with the name Himalayan, please make sure it is ours you select.  Once you are set up, you should log into givingabit, then search for the shop you want to use.  If your favourite retailer is not listed, you can request it, though it does take some time for it to be added.  Clicking through to the retailer the first time, you will be asked to select  a community to join – again, that’s us!  It does take a few minutes to set up, and a few extra clicks before you shop, but we will receive a per-purchase donation from the retailer, so please do it – and it’s not just for Christmas, make it the new route for your online shopping at all times.   Thank you.
